The term "Hypnotherapy" brings up fear and discomfort for many people. the biggest objection I hear is "How do I know what will happen when I am hypnotized??" Followed closely by "Are you going to make me cluck like a chicken or do something else I will regret?" In truth neither of these applies to Hypnotherapy. The trance states used in Hypnotherapy are such that you are always aware of what is going on in the session and are in complete control of where we go and what happens. The Trance states we use are not a lot different from the state you feel when you are just waking up in the morning, or daydreaming, or deeply into a favorite piece of music. In this place, you have easy access to your sub-conscious mind as well as your conscious mind. It is also possible to contact what I like to call your Super conscious mind, which is your spiritual self. Using these gentle altered states and the variety of tools that I have we can map the journey of your past, present and, to some extent, future.
